The event was conducted in close coordination with the four recipient provinces of the Provincial Roads Management Facility (PRMF) such as the provinces of Bukidnon, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental and Lanao del Norte. The Australian Aid for International Development (AusAID) funds the PRMF.

Held on August 1 and 2, the forum presented the success stories of the PRMF provinces in the different areas of the local governance for about 350 participants composed of national and local government officials, civil societies, non-government and private sector organizations in the region.

The KM products were the different plans and documents prepared and formulated by the provinces which serve as their guide of the provinces in implementing the PRMF activities and projects. The KM products also documented the best practices of the LGU in Road Management reforms.

Panadero, in his message, said Northern Mindanao is fortunate having four of its provinces as recipients of the PRMF program, for this program does not only involve road rehabilitation and maintenance but governance reforms.

He encouraged the participants to learn from the sharing of the provincial governments and replicate the innovations on governance reforms.
