PTA augments school security Starting September 1996, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school has employed the services of three members of the civilian volunteers organization to strengthen the security of the school. The increase in the security force of the school was made possible through the request to the PTA by Mr. Rey B. Vencer, the school administrator who realized the need for more security guards at night to avert the commission of theft and other crimes in school. "Considering the population and the land area of CNCHS, there is an imperative need to increase the security personnel to secure lives and properties in school," Mr. Vencer said. At present, the school has four security guards, each rendering an eight-hour service daily. Reinforcing the security force of the school are three members of the civilian volunteer organization (CVO) of barangay Ayaman where CNCHS is partly located. The three are Jimmy de la Cruz Jr., Eglecerio Zamora, and Pedro 0hos Jr. Each renders service from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. for one month on rotation basis. For services rendered, the PTA appropriates P800.00 every month. The PTA of the school is headed by its long-serving president, Mr. Pio R. Lujan, and his vice president, Engr. Mario Gil. Rose Umadhay receives a Plaque of Appreciation from DECS Secretary Ricardo T Gloria. Partly hidden is Sen. Leticia Ramos-Shahan. Contest winners announced I
