24 The GLOW MARCH 1997
New Mentors of CNCHS
DELIA M. NOLASCO
The new teacher of Homemaking Arts is a resident of Miag-ao, Iloilo. At the age of 38, she has maintained her beautiful and charming looks. The former Delia Moreno is married to a seaman who also hails from Miag-ao.
Mrs. Nolasco started her teaching career in Calinog Agricultural and Industrial College on July 16, 1982. After serving the school for 12 years, she applied for transfer to Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School because Cabatuan is nearer to her place of residence.
Before she was absorbed by CNCHS, she was ranked together with six other applicants for a teaching position made vacant by the death of the late Mrs. Natividad B. Caspe. She outranked other applicants primarily because of her teaching experience, her having been a scholar to Philippine Normal University, and her teaching competence.
Mrs. Delia Moreno Nolasco became a member of the faculty of CNCHS on July 12, 1996. At present, she teaches Dressmaking.
