The university library is big, spacious and well ventilated. The College Librarian is Miss Hana Sara. The College chapel is gorgeous. It is ideal place for recollection and meditation. From the Chapel-Library building, we proceeded to the College, Museo. The Cabatuan relics are housed here in a cute modern edifice. The curator of the College's Museo is Prof. Lena Niniano, Dean of the History Department. From the College's Museo, Dr. Jonah Bidaure invited us to a merienda in the student's canteen. The group was composed of officers and mem­bers of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Gaub. It was managed by Estrella Dio. The singing group of Station 8 won the second place. Trained by Mrs. Evelina R. Artieda, the group was com­posed of residents of Serrano and San Agustin Streets. Third place went to Station 3 which had been champion several times. The MARCH 1997 Governor Neil Puga, Mayor Stephen Baldeviso, DECS officials and guests are already on the stage awaiting the arrival of the president of the Philippines, Her Excellency, President Beulah Grace Portillo. The official program will start at exactly 9:00 A.M. At the rostum, the master of ceremonies, Mr. Roy Belarga announces the arrival of the President of the Philippines. Fireworks burst, the College band plays "Mabuhay" music, and the crowd rushed in excitement toward the stage for a glimpse of the President of the Philippines. Again, the master of ceremonies announced requesting the audience to "standup" and join in the singing the Philippine National Anthem. From here, the historic milestone converting the Municipality of Cabatuan into a new City and converting Cabatuan College into a State University is bom. The prophetic drama is unfolded.
