A desperate search for any signs of life continues in the Philippines....After more than 800 people were flipped over in this ferry during a devastating typhoon SaturdayOnly 38 survivors from the capsized vessel have been found so far....including 28 who drifted at sea in life jackets for more than a day.Rescuers are considering drilling a hole in the bottom of the boat --- to see if they can find any more survivors But they admit that hope is starting to fade... 27. SOUNDBITE: (English) Arman Balillo, Philippine Coast Guard spokesperson: "We heard that there are already cadavers floating on the area as reported by the local residents and the boat already capsized."More than 160 people were killed in the typhoon that has caused widespread flooding and triggered landslides throughout the country.And officials fear the death toll will rise sharply when all victims are found from the overturned ferry.Some Filipino leaders are questioning why the vessel was allowed to embark on a 20-hour voyage when officials knew the massive storm was approaching. ___ ___, The Associated Press.
